Founder | Lead Planner | Dreams in Details + Lover of Logistics
A born business woman with a passion for planning, Alexa founded Long Aisle Events in 2015 with eight years of diverse industry experience under her (always chic) belt. Always the first to show up and the last to leave, on the rare occasion she’s not planning an event or on-site ensuring things run seamlessly, you can likely find her perusing all of her favorite wedding magazines, blogs, and Instagram accounts collecting inspiration (#weddinggoals).
Alexa’s first experience in the wedding industry began in 2007, when she spent her senior year of high school working with wedding pros on Long Island. From that moment forward, she always knew she wanted to work in the events industry. After earning her BBA in Event Planning from LIM College in New York City, she eventually accepted a position as a wedding coordinator for Eau Palm Beach (a former Ritz Carlton property)—which required she make the exciting move from the Big Apple to the sunshine state.
After falling in fast love with Tampa, Alexa founded Long Aisle Events with one simple vision: that every couple deserved to have a planning experience specifically tailored to their personality, preferences, and unique vision for their dream day. With everything from city-chic weddings to seaside affairs in her portfolio, her wide array of work has been featured in Modern Luxury Weddings South Florida and The Caribbean Magazine, 100 Layer Cake, and Marry Me Tampa Bay.
A workaholic who’s always calm under pressure, clients have described Alexa as everything from “hands down, the best decision we made” to “amazing from beginning to end” to “an example of what all wedding planners should be.” Alexa’s limited free time often involves spending way too much time at Barnes & Noble, exploring new restaurants in Tampa, traveling to warm places with her fiancé, or dreaming about the possibility of one day having enough free time to plan her own wedding. An LVL Academy grad who’s always looking for ways to mentor up-and-coming industry vendors in the city, Alexa volunteers her time as the membership chair for The Rising Tide Society’s Tampa Bay Chapter—she’s also a Certified Professional of Catering and Events, and Florida State Notary, so if (heaven forbid) your officiant doesn’t show up, she’s got you covered.
